Puppy Waste Disposal
A new puppy comes with a lot of excitement. A puppy is a friend and a family member, but they do not come without work. You will quickly learn that your puppy can at times create quite the mess. This is not always the puppy's fault however; things such as shedding, odor and natural bodily functions are out of your young pup's control. Puppy owners don't have to tackle these problems alone; there are a wide range of products available to assist in cleaning up after the messes your puppy can make.
Disposable Bags: One of the most basic sanitation products that a new puppy owner can have are disposable bags. These are ideal for situations where you are walking your puppy and they have to handle their "business." Having a sanitary way to pick up your puppy's waste is necessary. Animal waste has the potential to contaminate both you and your dog, if not handled and disposed of properly. Disposable waste bags come in a variety of sizes, quantities and colors, and they are available from a variety of reputable manufactures.
Bag Dispensers: To increase the convenience of the much needed disposable plastic doggy bag, bag dispensers are also a helpful product for puppy owners. Bag dispensers allow for hassle free and time saving access to your disposable waste bags. Bag dispensers are available in a variety of different shapes and colors to match your specific aesthetic preferences.
Some bag dispensers are designed to be placed around the home, or hung from a wall. Some are made even more accessible to dog walkers and are equipped with clips or latches that allow them to easily be attached to belts or leashes.
Waste Scoopers: For the puppy owner that is not comfortable physically touching their dog's waste (even through the protective disposable bag), waste scoopers are vital. These plastic grabbing tools are designed to conveniently grab animal waste with the simple squeezing of a trigger or push of a button. They are available in compact sizes or with long shafts for those puppy owners that are uncomfortable or incapable of bending over. Many waste scoopers can be fitted with disposable plastic bags, further increasing sanitation and ease.
Cleaning Supplies: Besides waste, puppies create other incidental messes that may need the assistance of specialized dog cleaning supplies. These include various sprays and foams. Some foams can be sprayed on carpet that is littered with loose puppy fur; it then sets and then vacuumed, showing effective results. Other sprays are very effective at removing puppy odor and spots that may be created by a puppy's indoor accident.
Bathing Products: Super-absorbent towels are available to assist in, the sometimes difficult task of giving your puppy a bath. These towels can absorb all of the water from your puppy's wet fur. There are also gloves designed to assist in the bathing of your puppy. These gloves are designed to effectively remove dirt and other debris from your puppy's paws and hard to clean areas.
