Risks of Going with a Breeder
Purchasing a dog can be a difficult task, as there are many options out there and each of them having their strong points as well as downfalls. However, of the main types, the risk of going with a breeder is always quite apparent. Although breeds are often deemed by many individuals as the specialists of the specific breed, or having the ability to connect with the breed and understand them with a different way, sometimes their methods of doing so many be anything but conventional. As it has been noted as well as documented by many people dealing with many different breeders that abuse does happen, and that abuse is often times not reflected or expressed under the supervision of the breeder, but rather when he or she is not there. As dogs are never genetically created to be vicious or aggressive, they are sometimes brought up with void of love which is expressed through aggression and even sometimes snapping on the owner. These stories and documents are very real, and unfortunately are somewhat common, as there are many reported alleged victims that suffer tremendous injurious and even sometimes death.
However, this does not stand for all breeders, as some breeders may be the perfect type that provides a home full of love and care; however, it is best to keep your eye out for those who may seem somewhat suspicious.
The risks of going with a breeder extend beyond cases of aggression and sometimes can even permanently damage a dog's ability to love fully in which case is generally expressed through fear of humans or being somewhat cold. If these are seen throughout the various times of contact with the dogs present at the breeders facility, it could be a sign that the dog has undergone some sort of stress or trauma that has affected its nature. Another huge issue that is seen with breeders is the possibility of over breeding and crossbreeding, therefore charging you an excessive amount of money for something that is not what it is claimed to be. Cross breeding poses no serious harm to the dog itself, however, cross breeding has the capability of altering the dog in a way in which is not typical to the breed. Although it is difficult to spot or see characteristics of a cross breed dog, it is often times not detrimental to the dog itself, however, often times breeders attempt to charge extra for these dogs, as they claim these specific types of dogs are extremely rare or posses traits that are only found in the best of the best.
